Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of Tampa is seeking a Travel Pharmacy Cubex Technician to maintain inventory and restock to ensure clients have an adequate supply of medication. They visit clients and troubleshoot problems with the automated technology and serve as the point of contact for the dispensing system.

The role requires proficiency in basic math and data entry, strong organization, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Computer knowledge is a must.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated dispensing system inventory and restock on a daily basis.
• Visit customers to troubleshoot problems and perform audits of medication as necessary.
• Replenishment and maintenance of expired medication in MedBank as well as loading/destocking.
• Educate customers on utilizing Med Bank system.
• Handle all automation-related issues.
• Build relationships with facility administration and staff.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Medication Ekit checks.
• Knowledge of Data Entry and / or IV experience is a plus.

Job Summary

The Travel Pharmacy Cubex Technician maintains inventory & performs restocks to ensure our clients have an adequate supply of medication. Additionally, they visit clients and troubleshoots problems with the automated technology. This position acts as the point of contact for the automated dispensing system.

Schedule

Day shift with alternating weekends

Duties/Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy automation (Pyxis, Omnicell, Medbank) preferred.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)

Physical Demands

• May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, walk
• May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
• May lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

Holiday & PTO Policy

• Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days.

• Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
