Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in New York City, NY is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for an 8-week contract to support our healthcare systems on site. You will perform PET/CT imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety while collaborating with physicians and radiologists.

Qualified candidates have ARRT Nuclear Medicine and CT licenses, BLS, and at least 2 years of PET experience.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT Nuclear Medicine and CT licenses.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years PET experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
