Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for an 8-week assignment in New York City, NY. This onsite role supports clinical imaging teams with PET/CT procedures using Siemens Biograph Vision, under a high-lidelity healthcare environment.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Medicine and CT licensing, BLS, and at least 2 years of PET experience; travel and contract extension are possible. Pay is weekly and benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification, Nuclear Medicine and CT license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PET within modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
