Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for an 8-week onsite assignment in New York City. You will perform PET/CT imaging, collaborate with physicians, and ensure patient safety and image quality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Medicine and CT licenses, BLS, and at least two years of PET experience. Onsite travel position with weekly pay and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum 2 years of PET experience in modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
