Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist for an 8-week contract in New York City, NY. The role requires ARRT Nuclear Medicine and CT licenses, BLS, and at least 2 years of PET experience.

You will travel to client healthcare systems and support advanced diagnostic imaging with Siemens equipment. The assignment offers a pathway to extension and benefits, with onsite schedule Monday–Friday and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification, Nuclear Medicine and CT license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in PET within modality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality functional and anatomical images.
• Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Evaluate image quality and verify alignment between PET and CT datasets.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform daily quality control and maintenance on PET/CT equipment.
