Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred in school or community settings.
• RN license active in VT or multistate/compact license.
• BLS certification required; PALS or School Health Nurse certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and triage for acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies on campus.
• Administer medications and manage treatment schedules; oversee individualized health plans.
• Coordinate immunization records and health screenings in compliance with state standards.
• Educate students, families and staff on health promotion and hygiene practices.
• Document visits and treatments accurately in the EHR and school health logs.
• Liaise with local health departments and families to coordinate care and vaccination tracking.
