Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Travel RN - School Nurse for a Montpelier, VT assignment. Day shift, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM EST (14 hours/week). You will provide direct care, manage medications and IHPs, conduct health screenings, and promote student wellness.

Requirements include a BSN preferred or ADN with school health/pediatric experience, active VT RN license (or compact), and BLS; PALS or School Health certs are a plus, with strong EHR skills.

Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred; ADN accepted with pediatric or school health experience.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Vermont or multi-state/compact.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS or School Health Nurse certification preferred.
• Pediatric, school health, or community health nursing experience.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care & Triage in campus setting.
• Medication administration and IHP management.
• Health screenings and immunization record coordination.
• Education on health promotion and hygiene.
• Documentation in EHR and school health logs.
• Liaise with local health departments and families.
