TotalMed Allied seeks a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Norfolk, VA. The role is 13 weeks long, with 48 hours per week and 12-hour rotating shifts. Immediate need for a Peds-RRT with 1 year of acute care experience.

The position involves direct patient care across clinical areas, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to ensure high-quality care. Certifications NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS are required; PALS/NRP may be needed in some areas.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS required.

Aufgaben

• Administer to patients a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintains patient records/documentation.
• Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, maintains equipment; reports malfunctions.
• Performs arterial puncture and analyses samples.
• Interacts with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff to optimize care.
• Responds to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
