Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for an immediate travel assignment in Honolulu, HI. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience and NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.

The position is 16 weeks long, 42 hours per week, with a 12-hour rotating shift. As a Peds-RRT you will deliver direct patient care, evaluate and treat according to protocols, document care, and coordinate with the care team to

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS are required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas following procedural guidelines.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Maintain and document patient records; ensure equipment is calibrated and safe.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
