Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – School Nurse for a day-shift assignment in Montpelier, VT. You will partner with educators and families to foster a safe, healthy learning environment, with duties including care, documentation in EHRs, and collaboration with local health departments.

Qualifications

• Pediatrics or school health experience is preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred; ADN accepted with relevant school health/pediatric background.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies on campus.
• Administer medications and manage individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Coordinate immunization records, health screenings, and referrals according to state standards.
• Educate students, families, and staff on health promotion and hygiene.
