Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Apple Valley, California. This travel opening requires a PT with e xperience in pediatric care and ability to manage a plan of care in an acute care setting.

The role runs for 13 weeks, with 8-hour day shifts. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with consideration given to candidates with 6 months of relevant experience and current BLS and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting according to facility guidelines.
• Adhere to PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and document timely and accurately in line with guidelines.
