Job summary

TotalMed RN in Norfolk, VA is seeking a travel PACU RN (Pediatrics) for a 13-week assignment. This RN will work 36 hours per week on an 8-hour shift in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, with ACLS/PALS/BLS required and 1-2 years acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes to physicians.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Assist with patient movement and transfers as required.
