Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

As a PACU RN you will monitor post-anesthesia patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with the surgical team. This 18-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients and report changes to the physician.
