Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Charlottesville, VA. This 13-week assignment runs 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. A flexible, fast-paced PACU environment requires strong monitoring and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience.
• Travel RN assignment with 13 weeks duration.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for postoperative patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes to physicians.
• Develop and adjust care plans for post-anesthesia recovery.
• Assist with transitioning patients to appropriate units as they recover.
