Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Needham, MA. You will provide perioperative nursing care, educate patients, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient outcomes.

The role requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification; housing and travel benefits are included as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care before, during and after surgery.
• The OR nurse also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite outside the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
