MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Pediatrics OR - Operating Room for a Boston, MA assignment.

The role requires 18 months of recent Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS & ACLS certifications. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and credentialing support. The 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
