Job summary

TotalMed RN in San Francisco seeks a Pediatric Operating Room Travel Nurse (RN) for a 10-week assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and PALS, and will involve 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 36.0 hours weekly, with travel accommodations as needed.

The pediatric OR travel nurse will perform minor procedures, assist with positioning, document histories and vitals, and ensure all paperwork is complete prior to procedures. Benefits and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS and PALS required.
• Active California RN license or eligibility.
• Pediatric OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pediatric OR procedures and positioning.
• Document medical history, allergies, and vital signs.
• Monitor patient status and notify team of changes.
• Ensure paperwork is completed before procedures.
• Follow hospital policies and maintain a sterile environment.
