Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Dayton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide emergency care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced setting, collaborate with physicians, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required qualifications include 1 year ER RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and PALS/ENPC certification. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and access to support from a dedicated clinical team.

Formación

• One year of recent experience as a Pediatric ER RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and their families in an age-appropriate manner.
• Administer prescribed and emergent medications and treatments per pediatric protocols.
• Prepare and operate pediatric emergency equipment and assist physicians.
• Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients in the emergency setting.
• Perform pediatric vital sign assessments and respond to deviations.
• Respond to pediatric emergencies such as respiratory distress or cardiac events.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Develop care plans with families addressing pediatric needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care.
