Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Pediatric Echocardiography technologist for a 13-week assignment in Newark, New Jersey. This role requires performing 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies under physician supervision and preparing preliminary interpretations.

You will also maintain records, support training of residents and fellows, and be proficient with multiple echocardiography platforms.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Cardiac echocardiography technology program completion required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform all 2D echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Follow physicians orders, policies and procedures accurately.
