TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Echocardiography Tech for a 13-week assignment in Newark, New Jersey. The role requires 1 year of pediatric echocardiography experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification with licensure as required.

The Echo Tech will operate ultrasound equipment, obtain quality images, and communicate findings to physicians. Responsibilities include patient education, image acquisition, quality Doppler exams, stress echo, and transesophageal studies.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in pediatric echocardiography.
• BLS, ARDMS (RDMS FE) or CCI (RCS) certification as required.
• State licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in echocardiographic studies.
• Acquire quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Perform stress echocardiography and dobutamine imaging.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms per physician expectations.
• Report findings to the interpreting physician.
• Maintain and process completed studies.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and arrange repairs as needed.
• Record patient information accurately and use McKesson PACS.
