MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Pediatric Echocardiography technologist for a Newark, New Jersey assignment. The role involves performing 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies, with interpretation support and patient preparation.

The candidate should have accredited training in cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound, plus a formal echocardiography program completion. This travel contract covers 13 weeks with 40 hours weekly and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read, interprets, apply, and follow physician orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of studies.
• Maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Ensure knowledge of echocardiography platforms and technology.
