Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Echo Technologist in Newark, NJ to perform pediatric echocardiography studies for a 13-week assignment. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification along with state licensing where required.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images, educate patients, and communicate findings to physicians while adhering to department procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in echocardiography.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and families for procedures.
• Acquire and optimize echocardiographic images.
• Perform Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Capture Stress Echo and Dobutamine images as needed.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms per physician guidance.
• Document findings and maintain patient records.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and PACS usage.
