Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The position covers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, in a Progressive Care Unit. Start date 10/18/2026, travel employment can offer competitive pay and robust benefits.

Ideal candidates have one year of Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. Join a team dedicated to patient-centered care and supportive clinical staff.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Observes patient status and notifies supervisor or physician as needed.
• Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focused on cardiac health.
