Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The position requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PCU patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU care.
• Utilize computer systems to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect changes, enabling intervention when needed.
