Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown (PCU) for a 13-week assignment in Kalamazoo, MI. The role requires 36 hours per week, with nights on a 12-hour shift schedule. Immediate openings for RNs with 1–2 years of acute care experience seeking travel opportunities.

You will monitor cardiac patients and perform standard step-down care, including IV starts, dressings, and medication administration. Must hold ACLS/BLS; NIH may be required.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required for PCU travel assignments.
• NIH certification or eligibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilise cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays for changes.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
