Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit, following the care plan, supervising staff, and ensuring patient safety.

The role requires BLS and ACLS certifications prior to start, with typical bedside experience on the lower end; 13-week duration, nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, and travel compensation structured with a tax-free

Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care by following the care plan and supervising ancillary staff.
• Ensure patient safety and accuracy of documentation throughout shifts.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and provide patient/family teaching.
• Offer supervision to ancillary nursing personnel and participate in team-building activities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation.
