Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel assignment in Lubbock, TX. The 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Immediate start for an RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience.

The PCU role involves monitoring and titrating medications in a step-down setting to ensure patient safety. Responsibilities include bedside care, wound management, IV therapy, and interpreting patient data.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of experience in acute care.
• NIH certification may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
