Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This PCU travel role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and involves 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, for a 13-week assignment.

The RN will monitor cardiac and other vital information, perform bedside care, administer medications, and respond to emergencies. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required; nursing license must be active in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 12-hour shifts; travel RN role in PCU.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients and administer prescribed medications; adjust as needed.
• Interpret monitors and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Utilize equipment to assess and support patient status.
