Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel PCU RN for a 13-week assignment in Beaufort, South Carolina. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

The PCU nurse will care for patients requiring close monitoring, manage IV therapy, and interpret cardiac monitoring. This travel position is with TotalMed RN, a prominent travel staffing agency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays, responding to changes.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
