Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) for a 13-week travel assignment in Beaufort, South Carolina. Start Date: 10/21/2026. Schedule: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, travel role.

The Stepdown RN will provide expert care to patients transitioning from ICU, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires 1 year Stepdown RN experience, RN license, BLS, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Document assessments and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
