Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Denton, Texas.

The role requires an RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent PCU/Step-down experience. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, Travel Employment.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who aren’t unstable enough to need ICU care.
• Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect changes, enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
