Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Edmond, Oklahoma. This RN role focuses on patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU care, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac and vital signs, titrate IV medications, and provide focused bedside care in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a willingness to obtain additional

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience preferred for PCU.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
