ARMStaffing seeks a Registered Nurse for a PCU travel assignment in Augusta, GA. The role is a 13-week contract, 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

The RN will care for cardiac patients, manage insulin and cardiac drips, and document care plans in Meditech, working with a cohesive unit to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN licensure.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with cardiac care and administration of cardiac and insulin drips preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient ratios ideally at 1:4, currently supporting a 1:5 ratio.
• Perform regular vital sign checks every 4 hours or as necessary based on patient condition.
• Administer insulin and cardiac drips in accordance with protocols.
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate effectively with unit secretaries and PCTs for optimal patient care.
• Participate in self-scheduling with emphasis on team collaboration for shift preference.
