TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Prescott, AZ. This 13-week travel assignment features 12-hour days and a 36-hour week, with ACLS/BLS requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and are prepared to monitor cardiac patients, adjust IVs, and provide bedside care in a fast-paced setting. The PCU includes cardiac step-down responsibilities and rapid response needs.

Qualifikationen

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and interpret monitoring equipment and electronic displays.
• Respond to adverse symptoms and initiate corrective actions.
