Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Paramedic for Tehachapi Valley, Tehachapi, CA. This contract spans 8 weeks with an evening/mid shift schedule and 36–48 hours per week (3x12s).

You will provide advanced emergency medical care across all ages in a fast-paced ED, carrying out rapid assessments, airway management, IV access, and coordinated care with physicians and nurses. Requires recent EPIC experience and California paramedic license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Paramedic license current.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license (21+).
• Preferred: EVOC certification.
• Preferred: Associate or technical degree.
• Three years of full-time 911 system experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Rapid patient assessment and emergency stabilization
• Administer medications via oral and IV routes
• Perform advanced airway management, including intubation and surgical airway procedures when indicated
• Initiate venous access and other advanced life-saving interventions
• Respond to medical emergencies using evidence-based protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy
• Assist with emergency procedures including cardioversion and closed reductions
• Participate in education and training opportunities as needed
