Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Tehachapi, CA seeks an Emergency Paramedic for Tehachapi Valley facility. Evening shift, 36-48 hours per week, EPIC backfill, must have recent EPIC experience within last 12 months.

Provides emergency pre-hospital care, stabilizes patients, administers meds, intubation, online and offline medical control, and field trauma support in a high-acuity setting. On-site work with a trusted rural hospital.

Qualifications

High School Education/GED required.
Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination preferred.
Three years' full time experience in a 911 system preferred.
Paramedic license in state of practice required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
EVOC certification preferred.
Valid Driver's License and age 21+ required.
BLS certification from AH policy required.
ACLS or ARC-ALS required.

Responsibilities

Provides individualized care plan for patient presentation according to department policies and standing orders.
Provides emergency care in the pre-hospital environment.
Delivers perioperative patient comfort, safety, privacy and respect.
Identifies and develops expertise within surgical specialties.
Conducts emergency medical classes as requested by department manager.
Administers oral and intravenous medications.
Performs intubation or surgical airway if needed and places venous access lines.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
