Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota. This PACU RN role provides observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring monitoring for adverse reactions and timely transfer to appropriate units.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• PACU RN travel assignment in Fargo, ND.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Treat pediatric to adult patients in PACU.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready for room transfer.
• Stand/walk long periods; bend/stoop; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Adapt to fast-paced, high-stress environment and communicate with diverse patients.
