Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The PACU RN will monitor post-operative patients as they recover from anesthesia and work closely with the surgical team.

Requirements include 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and BLS certification. Expect 10-hour shifts over a 13-week contract with a tax-free stipend possibility and comprehensive benefits from TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-operative patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes to physicians.
• Develop and update individualized care plans for PACU patients.
• Determine when patients are ready to be moved to a room.
• Assist with patient lifting and mobility as needed.
