Job summary

TotalMed RN in Saint Louis, Missouri is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week assignment. This PACU RN role requires 1-2 years acute care experience, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and a travel employment type.

Responsibilities include observing post-op patients, developing care plans, monitoring for changes, and reporting to physicians. ACLS and BLS certifications are required; additional certifications may be needed. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years acute care experience required.
• Current RN license in Missouri (MO) or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes to physician.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate with the surgical team.
