Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Saint Louis, MO. The RN will provide specialized post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient discharge.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in the state(s) of practice
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery status.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Coordinate care with surgical team and post-anesthesia units.
• Facilitate patient and family education and discharge planning.
