TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. This PACU RN role supports postoperative patients as they recover from anesthesia and prepare for transfer.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, are willing to work 10-hour evenings, and can stand and walk for long periods. Travel nurses receive weekly pay and benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Develop care plans based on patient condition and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assess patients to determine readiness for transfer to a room.
