Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The RN will cover PACU duties, monitor patients post-surgery, and collaborate with the surgical team.

Start ASAP for a 13-week assignment, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week. ACLS/BLS required, 1–2 years acute care experience preferred. Travel position with tax-free stipend details to be determined.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required for PACU RN roles.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• PACU RN experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients as they recover from surgery.
• Develop and adjust care plans for individual patients.
• Communicate changes to physicians and team.
• Assess patient readiness for transfer to a room.
