Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saint Paul, Minnesota. We are looking for an RN with 1-2 years of acute care experience to cover a 12-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

As a PACU RN you will monitor post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia, develop care plans, and ensure timely transfers to rooms. Certifications (BLS, PALS) are required before starting; additional certifications may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• PACU nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Assess readiness for transfer to a room.
