Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia. This PACU RN role requires 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week travel assignment.

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications plus 1–2 years of acute care experience are preferred. The RN will monitor post-op patients and coordinate care between anesthesia and recovery stages.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Travel assignment total duration is 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physicians.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready for transfer to a room.
