Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Paducah, Kentucky. The PACU nurse will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vitals, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge planning.

Travel assignments offer competitive pay and support from a dedicated clinical team. Required qualifications include one year of PACU RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU RN experience is required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• Active RN license in good standing and compliant with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and post-operative treatments.
• Collaborate with surgical team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Document assessments and care in medical records and communicate changes.
