Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky. The nurse will provide care for post-operative patients and monitor recovery after anesthesia, with shifts of 8 hours, days, for 40 hours per week on a 13-week assignment.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of PACU experience. Travel credentials and housing support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local.
• Monitor and reassess patients as they wake from anesthesia and recover.
