Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN in PACU to provide high-acuity postoperative care in Saint Louis, MO. You will support adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients following diverse procedures and manage invasive monitoring and ventilated patients.

The position runs 10-hour days for 40 hours weekly in a Level I Trauma Center, with benefits and travel stipends. BLS/ACLS required; CCRN preferred; travel experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute care or PACU/critical care experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity PACU care for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients after various surgeries.
• Manage patients with invasive monitoring and vasoactive medications in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during transition from OR to recovery.
• Work 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week in a travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Center.
