TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, with 10-hour daytime shifts, and requires ACLS, BLS, and PALS along with 1–2 years of acute care experience.

As a PACU RN, you will monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, develop care plans, and respond to changes in condition. The role emphasizes patient safety, timely transfers, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 1–2 years acute care experience required.
• PACU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-anesthesia patients as they recover.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients for condition changes and report to physician.
• Assess readiness for transfer to a room and document care.
