TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.

As a PACU RN, you will observe and care for post-op patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia, ensuring monitoring for adverse reactions and coordinating with the care team. This assignment requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient’s condition.
• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
