Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Decatur, Georgia. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with evenings shift on 10 hour days.

The PACU RN will monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, develop care plans, and report changes to the physician. Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-anesthesia patients as they recover.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physicians.
• Determine when patients are ready to move to a room.
